Bicycle Super Store takes delivery of their second ‘Inflatable replica’ bike man for their new store in Mornington. The group has been using this Mascot for 5 years but when the tyres went flat, decided to get a new one made.

Up in smoke………not! It would have been a real crowd pleaser- 10m of fresh joint – but it wasn’t to be.This10m long, ‘helium inflatable replica’ commissioned by the Hemp Embassy was used to promote the aims of the Nimbin Mardi Grass organizers who used it at their annual mardi for the Cannabis Law Reform Rally.

Sam Newman Jnr gets his tie straightened and his mascara touched up before the lights and camera come to life for his live appearance on Channel Nine’s Footy Show. It was a job that posed some serious challenges for the team who worked an 18hr shift to get him camera ready. Many of our clients comment on the ease they have in understanding the process of ‘design to supply’ of the product we produce. We try really hard to make all our clients’ experience an enriching and rewarding process. We make it our aim to demystify inflatables and take the worry out of their expectations. It’s also vital to us that they in turn can communicate to their clients. We train with them so that they can feel completely confident and knowledgeable when talking to their clients. For us, that is even more important than the successful, timeous [sometimes just] supply of the finished product. This is part of the process of which much is very visual in nature.

Then yet another late-night sprint to the finish for the motocross……and some inflatable punch bags for the start line. These huge EVIBS - Extreme Visibility Inflatable Branding Solutions are ‘tall inflatable columns’ used as branding for the sponsors of the event. They were used as start and finish gates and stood tall at 6m high. At last we can offer, after nearly 6months of trials, our new technology, low-energy, whisper-quiet internally mounted inflation fans .This was not our easiest of R&D experiences.

What has The Giant Inflatables Team been up to? The day we completed a new ‘Start/finish arch’ the team took it out to a school fund raising event for the Leibler Yavneh college Yavnathon. The caterers were overjoyed to work under the SNOPE – a 4 legged inflatable dome. At last complying with the OH&S regulation requiring food service and preparation to take place under shelter could easily and seamlessly be done. Anthony and his team were overjoyed when they saw the ease with which the arch was installed. Last year saw organisers climbing trees to erect the banners across the roadway.

The production of a 5m tethered blimp for Mirvac (for a new property development) was accompanied by our ability to service them by having a service crew to set up for them. We inflated the unit with helium, trained their safety officer and made sure they had no worries from the blimp and could go about doing what they did best.

We developed a few new relationships in the past month that culminated in the production of a pair of Inflatable wine bottle replicas for the Yellowtail brand. What was so uniquely special about these, was the ability of our engineers to produce really whisper-quiet fans, as these inflatables stood next to a stage at a classical music concert.

We completed our first big hybrid Raver for Robot hardware. They needed a focus at their new shop to draw attention from passing traffic. But they were also concerned about the need to build the Robot Brand as part of their growth plans. Hence the Hybrid designs combining a static inflatable and a kinetic rave tube
